Hollow Atlas

Hollow Atlas is a quiet one, and I mean that as a compliment. You wash up on an abandoned island and slowly piece together what happened there through notes, ruins, and environmental clues. There's no combat and no timer — just you, a map, and your own curiosity.

What impressed me is how it trusts the player. It rarely tells you where to go; instead it drops details you have to connect yourself. When a puzzle finally clicked and a new path opened, I actually said 'oh, of course' out loud.

It's short, maybe five hours, but it doesn't overstay. If you like slow, atmospheric games and reading between the lines, this is a lovely evening or two.
